Curated Cubs was created in the middle of the pandemic - when I realized that my kiddos hadn't worn half of the clothes in their closet after being stuck indoors for a year. It seemed like such a waste (of gorgeous clothing and money!) and I knew I wanted to give these pieces a real chance to shine.
I'll be honest, secondhand fashion didn't always appeal to me. After having my second child (a daughter, 4 years after my son), I quickly realized that the term "Million Dollar Family" actually just means you'll spend a million dollars if you focus on buying everything 'new' based on gender. I'll file this one under 'More tricks major Corporations are playing on us.'
Curated Cubs quickly developed into much more when we realized what really happens to clothes when consumers are done with them. We put our heads together to come up with a solution that was sustainable, environmentally conscious, economical and still fashion-forward. We continue to learn and evolve daily in this business, with an ultimate goal of leaving the world a little cleaner for our kids and generations to come.
