Curated Cubs was created in the middle of the pandemic - when Caitlin realized that her kiddos hadn't worn half of the clothes in their closet after being stuck indoors for a year. It seemed like such a waste (of gorgeous clothing and money!) and she knew she wanted to give those pieces a real chance to shine.
Though secondhand fashion didn't always appeal to her, Caitlin realized quickly after having her second child (a daughter, 4 years after her first - a son), that the term "Million Dollar Family" actually just means you'll spend a million dollars if you focus on buying everything 'new' based on gender. We'll file this one under 'More tricks major Corporations are playing on us.'
Caitlin then called her sister-in-law, Sahra, who had an eye for thrifting and a passion for keeping fashion sustainable through re-selling. We put our heads together to come up with a platform that promoted sustainable, environmentally conscious, economical and still fashion-forward shopping habits - and Curated Cubs was born. We continue to learn and evolve daily in this business, with an ultimate goal of leaving the world a little cleaner for our kids, their kids, and generations to come.
